It's been a while since my last post so I thought I'd better put something up in the hope that it'll spur me on to paint something other than sci fi for a change.
Here are a couple of GW Orcs from their Lord of the Rings range. Lovely characterful models that deserve a bit of time being spent on them.
I'm rather pleased with how the skin turned out on these.
Thank you! I had a lot of fun with these chaps. The tats are, I think, supposed to be a scar. They're sculpted into the figure. I painted a couple of Thunderbolt Mountain miniatures you may have seen elsewhere on the blog. I painted the drummer as if he'd been scalded across his face and torso! They're lovely models too and great to paint.
